Training Delivery Lead
About ConnectFutures
ConnectFutures exists to help young people stay safe and thrive in a digitally challenging world. Our mission focuses on building resilience against exploitation, hate, extremism, and disinformation through creative, research-backed training delivered in classrooms, youth settings, and communities across the UK.
This role is central to that mission. By coordinating training logistics, supporting facilitators, and managing scheduling records, you ensure impactful training reaches young people who need it most. The work is hands-on, varied, and directly tied to helping young people navigate pressures online and offline.
Our Organisation
Based in Birmingham, ConnectFutures is a social enterprise founded in 2013, partnering with organisations like the King’s Trust, MOPAC, and St Giles Trust. Our small, diverse team believes passionate people can turn challenging subjects into engaging and meaningful change.
Role Purpose
The Training Delivery Lead holds end-to-end accountability for ConnectFutures’ growing training function—a newly created role designed to bring strategic oversight and operational leadership to a function that has expanded in scope and complexity.
Key Accountabilities
You will act as the primary point of contact for clients and funders, making decisions across the entire project lifecycle—from initial enquiries through student delivery to funder reporting. In partnership with the Training Delivery Coordinator and Lead Facilitator, you’ll ensure seamless, high-quality operation while scaling ConnectFutures’ impact.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Funder Engagement
- Serve as the primary liaison for all private sector clients and funders throughout the entire project timeline.
- Lead needs assessments during kickoff calls to align content delivery with client goals.
- Provide regular progress updates, including weekly check-ins with evaluation insights.
- Manage funder relationships at project closure, clarifying budgets, timelines, and reporting needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
