Help get better trained people to the front line faster
Your role will be to deliver high-quality training support (demonstration/role play/simulator control/equipment support and maintenance) to specific courses assigned to use the appropriate equipment. This role would be ideally suited to someone who has an interest in gaming (not essential).
The role will be based onsite at HMS Raleigh, Torpoint – there will be a need to work 4pm to 10pm (backshift) 4 weeks out of 16 each term – backshift is Monday to Thursday. This role is a 2-year fixed-term.

Job Description:
🕒 Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week - 2-year Fixed-term contract
📍 HMS Raleigh - Torpoint
🔐 Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working as part of a team supporting instructors with simulator training
- Setting up the simulator training
- Briefing the students on what needs to be done
- Altering any simulator courses (increase/decrease speed/depth etc)
- Operating the simulators
What we’re looking for:
- Good IT Skills – MS Office with the ability to understand and navigate new technologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Any experience within the Royal Navy would be beneficial.
- Must be able to be cleared to UK SC Level
- Adaptable to change
- Ability to work 4pm to 10pm 3 or 4 weeks every term (16 weeks)
