Anderson Knight Recruitment is partnering with a growing UK-based manufacturing business that is investing heavily in its people, operational excellence, and future capability. Operating within a fast-paced and technically focused environment, the organisation is continuing to expand and is seeking a Training Officer to support the development of a skilled, engaged, and high-performing workforce.

The Role
As Training Officer, you will support the coordination, design, and delivery of training and development activities across the organisation. Working closely with managers and employees across manufacturing, engineering, and operational teams, you will help ensure colleagues have the knowledge, skills, and training required to perform effectively and develop within their roles.
This position offers a blend of hands-on training delivery, coordination, and administration, making it ideal for someone looking to further develop their career within Learning & Development.
Reporting into the HR team, you will play an important role in supporting the wider training strategy while helping to create a positive learning culture throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer training activities across the business
- Work with managers to identify training and development requirements
- Assist in the creation, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programmes and learning materials
- Organise training schedules, book training sessions, and liaise with external providers
- Design, develop, and continuously improve engaging technical training materials, guides, and learning resources to support operational excellence, skills development, and workforce capability across manufacturing and engineering teams
- Deliver induction programmes and support training workshops where required
- Maintain accurate training records, databases, and reporting information
- Track training completion rates and ensure compliance requirements are met
- Support the development of technical and operational training content alongside subject matter experts
- Gather feedback and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives
- Promote employee engagement in learning and development activities
- Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers on training-related matters

About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and development and enjoys working in a practical, people-focused environment.
You may have experience within:
- A Training Officer, Training Coordinator, Learning & Development Coordinator, Training Adviser, or similar role
- Manufacturing, engineering, production, logistics, or other operational environments
- Coordinating training programmes and managing training records
- Supporting the delivery of learning and development initiatives
- Creating and updating training materials and learning resources
- Working with internal stakeholders and external training providers

A qualification or background in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field would be advantageous. Working towards or holding a CIPD qualification would also be beneficial.
