About The Role
Training & Education Specialist, Urology - EMEA (Sacral Neuromodulation)

Location: One of Boston Scientific's main EMEA hubs (preferably UK, Germany, Italy or Spain) to leverage Boston Scientific IAS capacity (Hybrid/Remote)

The role of the Urology Training & Education Specialist is to develop, implement, and continuously enhance Medical Education and Sales Training programs that support the growth of the Sacral Neuromodulation (SNM) business across EMEA. Leveraging Boston Scientific's educational ecosystem—including the Institute for Advancing Science (IAS), EDUCARE platform, and Center of Education (COE) network—the role drives impactful learning initiatives while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Education Strategy & Program Development
- Develop and execute the EMEA education strategy for Sacral Neuromodulation, creating comprehensive learning pathways for healthcare professionals and commercial teams.
- Assess educational needs and identify learning gaps to design targeted, effective training programs aligned with business priorities.
- Define learning objectives, target audiences, delivery methods, success metrics, and implementation plans for all training initiatives.
- Establish and maintain processes to track, evaluate, and continuously improve program effectiveness and learner outcomes.
- Leverage and adapt global Medical Education resources to maximize consistency, scalability, and impact across EMEA.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement of educational offerings and learning experiences.

Event & Faculty Management (Approx. 60%)
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of EMEA-based training programs, workshops, and educational events.
- Build, develop, and maintain a high-quality network of faculty members and key expert healthcare professionals to support educational activities.
- Facilitate advisory forums and expert interactions to gather insights and ensure the long-term relevance and scientific quality of training programs.
- Partner closely with Training Coordinators to ensure seamless event logistics, execution excellence, and post-program follow-up.
- Support the development of local training capabilities as country organizations and business needs evolve.
Digital Education & Learning Solutions (Approx. 40%)
- Design and implement digital learning content as part of the SNM educational journey for healthcare professionals and internal teams.
- Collaborate with clinical experts and internal stakeholders to develop engaging, scientifically accurate digital learning materials.
- Partner with Digital Content Specialists to establish annual content plans and support key franchise campaigns.
- Manage digital education platforms and content libraries to ensure accessibility, quality, and relevance.
- Support the adoption of innovative digital learning approaches across the EMEA region.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Compliance, Finance, and Country Leadership teams to ensure alignment of educational activities.
- Ensure effective communication, governance, and execution of training programs across multiple countries and regions.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize educational impact and support business objectives.
Quality
- Ensure awareness of and compliance with all applicable quality standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Champion Boston Scientific's commitment to quality, patient safety, and ethical business practices across all educational activities.
- Ensure all educational and promotional materials undergo the appropriate review and approval processes before use.
- Support and facilitate quality-related activities and field actions as required within the scope of responsibility.

What Are We Looking For?
- Fluent English language skills; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in Medical Education, Training, Marketing, or a related healthcare field.
- Experience within the Medical Device and/or Capital Equipment industry.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively within a complex international and matrix environment.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with digital learning platforms and learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong analytical mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive and collaborative working style.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-changing environment.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA (approximately 30–60%).
