Are you an experienced administrator with a keen eye for detail? Do you have an interest in both online and in-person events? If so, our client’s Training and Events Assistant role may be for you!
Alongside the interests and challenges of the role, our client knows that candidates also want to be enthused about the mission and values of the organisation they might be joining.
Our client is a charity and the professional body for industry professionals. They have a global membership who have designed many of the buildings and bridges people take almost for granted in their daily lives.
Creating safer places for the benefit of the public is at the heart of their remit and this includes environmental sustainability. They are central to the debate on the impact construction has on natural resources and climate change.
Our client is passionate about inclusion and works hard to help those with talent, irrespective of background, to develop themselves professionally. They have members who work to support the world’s most vulnerable communities, especially those living in places prone to natural hazards.
If working as part of a staff team of about 80 people and alongside many of members to address these issues appeals to you, then our client would love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
