Role Description
The Training Manager role at Haute Dolci is a part-time, on-site position based in Preston. The Training Manager will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for front-of-house, kitchen, and café staff, focusing on service standards, product knowledge, and food safety practices. - Conducting regular training sessions
- Coordinating onboarding plans for new team members
- Providing coaching to support consistent guest experiences aligned with the Haute Dolci brand
- Maintaining training materials and records
- Assessing skills gaps through observation and feedback
- Collaborating with management to address performance and development needs
- Aligning training content with new menu launches, seasonal offerings, and updates to company policies and procedures

Qualifications
- Experience in training design and delivery, including creating structured programs, workshops, and on-the-job coaching.
- Background in hospitality, food service, or café/restaurant operations, with strong understanding of customer service standards.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and basic health and safety requirements in a hospitality environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams and learning styles.
- Proven ability to assess training needs, track progress, and report on training outcomes to management.
- Organizational and time management skills for coordinating training schedules in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort working on-site in Preston and collaborating closely with managers, supervisors, and team members.
- Previous experience as a trainer, supervisor, or manager in hospitality is highly beneficial; formal training or coaching qualifications are a plus.
