JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Training Manager, you’re not just managing training initiatives for hotel team members – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Please note that this position is 30 hours a week and will include some evening and weekend working to deliver the training.

As Training Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational compliance across all departments and maintaining Hilton’s brand standards. You will develop and implement training programs, conduct audits, and collaborate with department heads to drive continuous improvement. Your work ensures that every team member is equipped to deliver outstanding service while meeting legal and brand requirements.

Reporting to: General Manager

Works Closely With:

  • Operational Heads of Departments
  • General Manager
  • HR Manager
  • Duty Manager

Here's What You'll Do During a Typical Day:

Legal Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to all regulations and standards, including:

  • Allergen management
  • HACCP
  • Fire Safety
  • Licensing
  • Food Safety
  • First Aid Training
  • Pool Plant Training and First Responder
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene legislation.

Driving Guest Experience

  • Organize and administer all compliance and brand training (excluding leadership development).
  • Deliver training using Hilton resources to enhance skills, product knowledge, and guest satisfaction.
  • Facilitate annual training plans and calendars, including mandatory compliance training (hotel security, fire regulations, health and safety).
  • Collaborate with Heads of Departments to identify training needs based on guest feedback and operational requirements.

Projects

  • Lead QA compliance and mandatory annual training initiatives.
  • Support fire safety projects and other compliance-related improvements.
  • Delivery of any relevant brand training
  • Delivery of monthly induction for new starts

What We’re Looking For:

We seek a passionate professional with a strong background in compliance and quality management, ideally with experience in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills And Attributes:

  • Strong guest focus and commitment to delivering authentic, memorable experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage diverse teams and guests.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure.
  • Meticulous diary management, structured workplace management
  • The ability to influence Operational HOD’s to achieve all training and compliance within their departments

Experience:

Experience in a similar role within hospitality or food and beverage.
