Trampoline Coach – Places Leisure

About the Role

As a Trampoline Coach at Places Leisure, you’ll positively impact individuals while helping them develop new skills, build confidence, and achieve goals through engaging, progressive trampoline and gymnastics training.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop customer skills – Help participants of all ages and abilities improve their gymnastics and trampoline techniques, ensuring a fun and supportive experience.
  • Create and execute lesson plans – Design engaging, progressive training sessions tailored to different ability levels.
  • Support coaches – Ensure Assistant Coaches deliver lesson plans accurately, maintaining professionalism and consistency.
  • Stay certified – Keep up to date with British Gymnastics guidelines to guarantee residential high standards of training and support trainees in earning badges and achievements.
  • Motivate and nurture participants – Provide encouragement and guidance to individuals while often working closely with parents and guardians to track progress.

About You

  • Industry experience: Proven background in gymnastics, trampoline, or fitness teaching, ideally within a similar coaching environment.
  • Lesson planning: Skilled in creating structured, progressive training plans aligned with best practices (e.g. British Gymnastics).
  • Technical knowledge: Up-to-date with coaching techniques, first aid, and any relevant safeguarding protocols.
  • People skills: Passionate, patient, and motivating with the ability to work interactively with children, teens, and adults—including addressing individual needs.
  • DBS check readiness (where applicable): Willingness to undergo Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks as part of the selection process.
