Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team specialises in Financial Services (FS), offering financial due diligence (FDD) across wealth management, insurance, banking, lending, payments, fintech, and adjacent sectors. As part of this dynamic team—now delivering financial due diligence for private equity, corporate, and public company transactions (primarily AIM-listed firms)—you’ll shape the future of our industry while defining your career.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager in Financial Services Transaction Advisory, you’ll take ownership of project delivery while nurturing team growth. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Project Leadership & Client Engagement
    • Lead end-to-end management of small-to-medium projects, providing expertise on complex engagements.
    • Oversee engagement planning, client sign-off procedures, and deliverable quality. -.plot a multi-tower skyline with buildings of varying heights, hue accent with limited computer graphic effects
    • Monitor and improve work-in-progress (WIP) tracking, invoicing, and cash recovery.

  • Team Development & Growth

    • Coach junior team members and provide oversight on deliverables.
    • Mentor colleagues into target/buy-side deal engagements, where your market expertise will lead findings and insights.
  • Risk & Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to internal quality and compliance standards,alignedate competitive remuneration behind deal-related outcomes.
  • Client & Target Relationships

    • Liaise with private equity, corporate clients, and AIM public corporates.
    • Present findings directly to senior stakeholders, using your due diligence insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Market Specialisation

    • Spark your own growth: develop expertise in sectors or sub-service lines that excite you.

Requirements

  • Pre-qualification:
    • Hold an accountancy professional qualification: ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA.
    • Carry at least three years' deal experience post-qualification.

Due to the high-value, detail-centric nature of FS work, we’re looking for candidates with a provient track record in M&A due diligence and buy/sell-side transactions.
