Transaction Analyst, Global Capital Markets Location: London, United Kingdom Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transaction Analyst to join our team in London. You will support a team of managers in handling a portfolio of transactions, with a focus on company secretarial duties, administrative tasks, and transaction management. This role primarily involves working with structured finance and securitisation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management

  • Assist Governance and Transaction Managers in managing a portfolio of securitisation and structured finance transactions, covering asset classes such as CMBS, RMBS, consumer credit, CLOs, and auto receivables.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a client-focused approach by providing timely responses, professional communication, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Apply for LEIs, GIINs, and data protection licences.
  • Draft service agreements, fee letters, and supporting documents.
  • Prepare bank account opening forms and provide KYC information for special purpose vehicles (SPVs).
  • Support managers in transaction processes, including incorporation, onboarding, regulatory licence applications, and document execution.
  • Ensure all internal procedures and compliance measures are met for transactions under management.
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal databases with SPV and transaction details.

Company Secretarial Services

  • Manage company secretarial responsibilities for assigned SPVs.
  • Draft board minutes and assist with the organisation of board meetings.
  • Ensure timely filing of confirmation statements and financial statements to maintain the good legal standing of SPVs.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Adhere to client acceptance processes and conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance.
  • Actively monitor transactions to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure client entities meet relevant regulatory obligations, including Market Abuse Regulations.

Client Service & Business Development

  • Attend industry-related legal training to stay up to date with market trends.
  • Deliver high-quality client service by responding to queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and complete client files in line with internal filing procedures.

Client Invoicing & Administration

  • Accurately record time for invoicing purposes and ensure correct submission of fees and expenses.
  • Support administrative tasks such as post handling, courier arrangements, and document filing.

Your profile

  • A degree in Law, Business, or Economics (2:1 or above preferred).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail, conscientious, and diligent.
  • Professional and approachable with excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
