Position Summary

A Transaction Manager is responsible for the ongoing management of a portfolio of 40+ transactions. The role focuses on the review and interpretation of transaction documentation, proactive engagement with transaction parties, and ensuring that GLAS continues to deliver the highest standards of service across its agency and administration responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the ongoing management of a portfolio of syndicated loan transactions.
  • Review and analyse syndicated loan documentation, including finance and security documents, to ensure compliance with transaction requirements and operational obligations.
  • Monitor financial covenants through the collection and analysis of financial statements and other information, ensuring the timely distribution and posting of required documentation to lender groups, utilising the TSG team where applicable.
  • Facilitate transaction amendments, including coordinating lender communications and collecting lender consents and votes within required timeframes.
  • Facilitate obligor accessions and related transaction changes, including the collection of lender consents and votes within required timeframes.
  • Support and collaborate with senior team members on complex and bespoke transactions.
  • Work closely with internal GLAS teams to ensure the effective delivery of services across all transactions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for transaction counterparties, including borrowers, lenders, sponsors, and advisers, providing exceptional client service and fostering strong long-term relationships.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with clients and other market participants, supporting the growth of the GLAS portfolio and market presence.
  • Coordinate the efficient completion of GLAS's KYC processes for new obligors, including the collection of corporate formation and ownership documentation and liaison with GLAS's Compliance team.
  • Attend client meetings and industry events to support relationship management, business development, and the promotion of GLAS's services.
  • Adhere to all GLAS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate updating of OneView, Trello, and Debt Domain, utilising the TSG team where appropriate.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to team, departmental, and company-wide projects.
