Role Description
The Transaction Manager role at Sandicliffe is a full-time, on-site position based at our Loughborough dealership. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of vehicle transactions, including structuring finance deals, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Reviewing customer applications
- Performing due diligence checks
- Coordinating lease and finance agreements
- Supporting the sales team with clear and transparent deal structures
The Transaction Manager will work closely with sales, finance, and administration teams to secure timely approvals, optimize profitability, and provide a positive customer experience throughout the purchase process. The role also involves monitoring transaction performance, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to processes and customer offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, assess risk, and support decision-making.
- Experience in finance and financial analysis, ideally within automotive retail, banking, or consumer lending environments.
- Knowledge of due diligence processes, including verification of customer information and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of lease administration, vehicle finance products, and related documentation and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and customers.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions under time pressures.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems and standard office software; numeracy and comfort working with spreadsheets.
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership, finance, or transactional role is preferred.
- Relevant education in finance, business, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
