Transaction Manager - Motor Trade - Volvo
We are looking for an experienced Transaction Manager to join our team at Volvo Wakefield.
About The Role
You will play a key role in maximising dealership profitability, supporting the sales team, driving finance performance, and ensuring compliance across all business activities as we launch an exciting new franchise.
Essentials (You Must Have)
- Previous experience in a Transaction Manager, Business Manager or Automotive Finance role
- Strong understanding of vehicle finance, FCA compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Full and valid UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to structure vehicle finance deals in line with customer needs and compliance requirements.
- Maximise finance, insurance, and product penetration opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and performance data for management review.
- Monitor vehicle stock levels and support sales planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.
- Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Support team performance, training, and attendance management.
- Ensure all activities comply with FCA guidelines, company policies, and manufacturer standards.
