Transaction Services Assistant
We are looking for a Transaction Services Assistant to join our fast-paced and diverse Transaction Services team. This role specialises in supporting the Retail teams across Harrods with large and complex transactions while providing world-class customer service.
About the Role
Our Transaction Services Assistants are responsible for providing expert advice and guidance over the phone, through emails and in-person to our Retail Teams to ensure the correct procedures are followed for transactions to be completed successfully. These tasks include but are not limited to deposits, general enquiries, refund/recharges, transaction searches and cost centre transfers.
You will use your customer service skills to offer world class service to all internal stakeholders and external customers on a daily basis. You will also:
- Ensure compliance with store policy and adhere to Transaction Services standard operations procedures.
- Be accurate and work to timelines, ensuring all trackers are up to date.
- Ensure that your set daily administrative tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Become an expert in all till processes, inspiring confidence in our department and the retail teams.

About You
You will have excellent customer service skills and be confident that the decisions you make will be in the best interest of our customers. Knowledge of Anti Money Laundering legislation is preferable and good PC literacy skills (Microsoft Office) are essential. It is important that you are able to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers alike, whilst being able to handle a wide range of responsibilities whilst working in a fast-paced environment.

You will also need:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when liaising with both internal and external parties.
- The ability to multi-task and readily adapt to changing priorities, whilst ensuring customers are at the forefront of your decision.
- The ability to work under minimum supervision and perform duties effectively.
