📢 We're Hiring | Transactional Accountant | Sheffield
Join Calibre Scientific UK and help shape the future of our Finance team. We're looking for a Transactional Accountant to join our Manufacturing Finance team based in Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in transactional finance who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day financial operations while working closely with colleagues across the business.
What you'll be doing:
- âś” Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- âś” Processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently
- âś” Performing bank reconciliations
- âś” Preparing VAT returns
- âś” Supporting external audits
- âś” Working across multiple entities and finance systems

We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a transactional accounting or finance role
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Enjoys solving problems and improving processes
- Can work independently while collaborating effectively with others
- Is AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT
Experience with Sage 200 would be an advantage.
