This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Transcription Reviewers – Multiple Languages based in United Kingdom.
Join a long-term remote project supporting high-quality multilingual transcription and annotation services for AI and language technology initiatives. This freelance opportunity offers a consistent and growing workflow, making it ideal for detail-oriented language professionals seeking flexible work. You will play an important role in ensuring transcription accuracy, linguistic consistency, and overall data quality across multiple languages. Working independently while following established quality standards, you will help improve language datasets used in advanced technology solutions. The role includes onboarding through training and an assessment before production begins, providing a clear path to successful project participation.
Accountabilities
- Review text transcripts to verify their accuracy, completeness, and linguistic quality.
- Validate transcription outputs by identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Perform annotation tasks according to project-specific guidelines and quality standards.
- Follow established review procedures to ensure all deliverables meet accuracy and consistency requirements.
- Complete assigned tasks independently while maintaining productivity and high-quality results.

Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in one of the following languages: German, English (US), Spanish (US), Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), Catalan, French (France), Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Turkish, Dutch, Simplified Chinese, Hungarian, Indonesian, Norwegian, Russian, Swedish, Vietnamese, Danish, Czech, or Finnish.
- Strong command of English for project communication and guideline comprehension.
- Previous experience in transcription, transcription review, annotation, or similar linguistic projects is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading and language quality assessment skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while consistently meeting quality expectations.
- Willingness to complete the required training and assessment before beginning production work.
