About the Role
NEW GROUND WON’T BREAK ITSELF.
Our team focuses on advising multinational businesses, operating across various industry verticals, on all transfer pricing-related matters. We support clients throughout the entire transfer pricing life cycle—design, implementation, compliance & documentation, and audit defence.
Our culture embraces flexibility. We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours and job shares, and support you to balance work and life effectively.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Director within our Transfer Pricing team, you will:
- Lead team management: Support Partners and Directors in managing and developing a team of high-calibre tax specialists, fostering growth, coaching, and ensuring individual and team objectives are met.
- Drive business development: Contribute to implementing business plans and identify new business opportunities for the firm, with input from higher leadership.
- Network strategically: Help build and manage a focused internal and external network to generate fee-earning opportunities—supporting pitches and collaborations with Directors and Partners where relevant.
- Lead assignments: Serve as the lead (or support the Director/Partner) on engagements, ensuring team alignment, development, and performance.
- Manage client relationships: Deliver high-quality client service autonomously, with minimal supervision from senior levels.
- Prioritise development: Commit to your own professional growth, working towards objectives across your performance scorecard and receiving regular feedback.
- Uphold integrity: Align with firm values, and act with transparency and ethical responsibility.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
