About WTS
"We’re setting out to reshape the future of tax advisory - one that’s better for clients, and better for advisers."
WTS UK is a new non-audit tax advisory firm offering the full range of services to large and listed businesses.
We take a fresh approach to tax advisory - unafraid to offer bold perspectives on complex issues. We provide clear, actionable advice, demonstrating what’s possible when a firm is purpose-built for today’s environment.
Modern, focused, and powered by senior expertise, we embed AI into our ways of working to sharpen insight and enhance client service.
We are proud to be part of WTS, headquartered in Munich, and connected through WTS Global, a network spanning 100 countries. We combine international reach with entrepreneurial agility.
The Role
We are seeking a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to play a leading role in the growth of our UK Transfer Pricing practice. You will advise large and listed businesses on complex transfer pricing matters, helping them design, implement and defend robust intercompany pricing frameworks in an increasingly scrutinised global environment.
The role will cover policy design, business restructurings, financial transactions, intangible assets and dispute support. You will provide clear, commercially grounded advice aligned with evolving international standards, including the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and UK legislation.
Working directly with Partners and senior client stakeholders, you will lead complex advisory engagements, develop key client relationships and contribute to the strategic direction of the practice. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the WTS Global network on cross-border engagements while helping to build and shape our growing transfer pricing offering in the UK.
This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in building a modern, conflict-free tax advisory firm – shaping workflows and working directly with senior leaders and high-profile clients in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transfer pricing advisory projects for large and listed businesses
- Design, implement and document global transfer pricing policies
- Review Master Files, Local Files and supporting economic analyses
- Lead the firm in adopting technology-enabled ways of working, championing digital tools that enhance delivery and empower teams
- Advise on transfer pricing aspects of business restructurings and supply chain transformations
- Recommend arm’s length pricing for intercompany financing and intangible asset arrangements
- Support clients through transfer pricing enquiries, audits and dispute resolution
- Advise clients on international tax developments, including OECD BEPS initiatives and the transfer pricing aspects of Pillar Two
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders
- Lead business development initiatives and proposal preparation
- Coach and develop junior team members
- Play an active role in shaping the growth and strategic direction of the UK Transfer Pricing practice
What We’re Looking For
- CTA, ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong technical knowledge of transfer pricing methods and economic principles, including up to date knowledge of the OECD’s developments and HMRC’s published guidance.
- Experience preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation, including Master Files and Local Files
- Thorough understanding of UK transfer pricing legislation and the OECD Guidelines, with an awareness of international standards in major jurisdictions and the approaches to TP dispute prevention / resolution
- Experience advising large corporates and listed groups
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior client relationships and develop business opportunities
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, practical advice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- A collaborative mindset aligned with our culture

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
