Transformation Director

Transformation Director – Centrica Home

Join us, be part of more.

We’re so much more than an energy company. We’re a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers—one team of 21,000 colleagues that's energising a greener, fairer future by creating an energy system that doesn’t rely on fossil fuels, living our powerful commitment to igniting positive change in communities.

Here, you can find more purpose, more passion, and more potential. That’s why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently.

At British Gas, our mission is to power the UK's homes and businesses for over 200 years—but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We're making the UK greener and more energy-efficient, getting us closer to Net Zero. By using clever tech—like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels, and EV chargers—we’re making it cheaper and easier for customers to reduce their carbon footprint.

Overview

Centrica Home, Flexible UK Locations with FlexFirst Hybrid Working

We’re combining the strength of British Gas, the innovation of Hive, and the power of digital, data, and agentic AI to shape the future of energy and home services. As customers move toward lower-carbon, smarter and more connected homes, we’re transforming how we serve them—creating new products, services, and business models that support a sustainable energy future.

As a Transformation Director, you’ll be at the centre of that journey, leading complex transformation programmes that deliver enduring change for customers, colleagues, and the business. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders, shape strategy, execute, and unlock long-term value at scale.

    • Partner with senior business leaders to turn strategic ambitions into actionable plans.
    • Offer strategic challenge and delivery leadership, along with practical problem-solving.
    • Align priorities, investments, and transformation roadmaps.

  • Transformation & Programme Leadership

    • Lead large-scale, complex programmes and portfolios—from design through implementation.
    • Deliver outcomes focused on scope, cost, quality, and benefits.
    • Ensure change is customer- and colleague-centred, embedding seamlessly into business operations.
    • Drive accountability and sustainable business results.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
