About the Role

We’re shaping the future of energy and home services. As Transformation Director, you’ll spearhead transformative programmes that align with corporate strategy, ensuring our shift towards lower-carbon, digital-first solutions drives tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll lead end-to-end transformation programmes, ensuring strategic intent is executed with precision. Your core focus will include:

  • Strategic Business Partnership

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic ambitions with executable transformation plans.
    • Provide practical problem-solving and strategic leadership in delivering against ambitious aims.
    • Offer an external perspective on value creation, risk mitigation, and delivery optimisation.
  • Transformation & Programme Leadership

    • Design, execute and embed large-scale transformation programmes throughout the organisation.
    • Drive customer-focused outcomes while ensuring business-as-usual operations aren’t disrupted.
    • Manage scope, cost, quality, and benefits to realise sustainable value.
  • Enterprise-Wide Digital & Data Leadership

    • Leverage AI, automation, digital, and data-driven insights to accelerate transformation.
    • Advocate for innovative technologies—from IA-driven solutions to posture-driven AI.
    • Use advanced analytics to shape facilities, pricing and experience while operationalising better business outcomes.

    • Establish robust governance frameworks to ensure end-to-end delivery success.
    • Partners with the Transformation & Modern Outcomes team to align priorities and sequencing.
    • Maintain clear visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and benefits.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

    • Inspire and unite executives, programme teams, and functional partners.
    • Negotiate multiple conflicting priorities to resolve delivery challenges.
    • Ensure momentum across transformation portfolios with pragmatic decision-making.
  • Strategic Workforce & Skills Planning

    • Identify skills gaps and workforce implications to build a fit-for-purpose organisation.
    • Drive capability improvement and a learning culture, aligned with future demands.
  • Regulatory, Risk, & ESG Stewardship

    • Embed ESG principles within programme design and delivery to ensure responsible and sustainable outcomes.
    • Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management protocols in regulated and unfamiliar environments.
  • Leadership, Culture & Change

    • Set clear expectations and drive mature, agile ways of working.
    • Foster high-performance culture and ownership across teams for long-term success.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience & Qualifications

You’ll need a blend of strategic agility, strategic audacity, and public sector acumen—with a proven track record of driving transformation across complex environments. We’re looking for:

    • Significant experience in managing large-scale transformation projects (with budget implications maximised).
  • Energy Sector Expertise
    • Deep familiarity with smart home technologies, low-carbon innovation, electrification, and the transition towards sustainable, digital-first energy.

    • Experience effectively partnering with executives and board-level stakeholders to shape strategy.
  • Delivery & Compliance Management
    • Acute understanding of regulatory requirements and effective **risk-g ਪ੍ਰ activimsh].

    • Ability to operate in technological uncertainties while driving towards faster energy transition goals.
