As the Transformation Director, you’ll anchor this journey by: ✔ Co-leading strategic transformation efforts from high-level intents toward real-world impact for customers, colleagues, and business. ✔ Designing roads maps, shaping deliverables, and ensuring customers, operational teams, and pathways sync. ✔ Building a culture that prioritises and celebrates progress, agility, and relentless improvement.

Responsibilities

Transformation Leadership

  • Navigate multi-million pound programmes and portfolios, ensuring operational and commercial depth.
  • Define results, benefits realisation cascades, and demand transparency at all levels.

Strategy & Partnership

  • Clarify short-term actions against long-term strategic goals.
  • Unlock collaborative partnership.fronting the Board and leading sponsorship showcases.

Customer & Colleague Focus

  • Embed user insights, service improvement, and colleague-agnostic cultural change in every initiative.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience & Skills

🔹 Forged in large-scale corporate change — Either reaching £200m+ stakeholder, and spanning energy-specific transition. 🔹 Deep grasp of how energy evolves, from low-carbon solutions to smart home, life and flexibility benefits, into digitally enabled models and electrification. 🔹 Track record partnering with high-level stakeholders, including chair-level influence. 🔹 Foundation in governance and change delivery frameworks like Agile (or ASP, PRINCE2 or Lean). 🔹 Commercially strategic mindset to execute and reinforce ROI-driven goals. 🔹 Pioneered digital maturity transformation through analytics, AI, automated and customer-centric initiatives. 🔹 Knowledge of workforce or team capability, including reskilling the transformation team itself. 🔹 Managing regulatory, operational, and risk alignment.

Education 📚 First-class degree or equivalent. Certifications including programme management (such as PRINCE2, Agile Certification), change management, data management, etc.
