Transformation Director

Join Us, Be Part of More

We’re more than an energy company. We're a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers—a team of 21,000 colleagues driving a greener, fairer future by building an energy system unaffiliated with fossil fuels while committing to positive change in our communities. Here, you'll find purpose, passion, and potential. At Centrica, working here is #MoreThanACareer.

We do energy differently – we create it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.

About British Gas

At British Gas, our mission is to sell and mend.

For over 200 years, we’ve powered UK homes and businesses—but energy supply is just part of our role. We’re accelerating the UK’s shift towards greener, more efficient energy, achieving Net Zero.

Through innovative energy-saving technologies like smart thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels, and EV chargers, we’re making it cheaper and easier for customers to reduce their carbon footprint.

Role Overview

Transformation Director Flexible UK Locations with FlexFirst Hybrid Working

At Centrica Home, we combine the strength of British Gas, the innovation of Hive, and the power of digital, data, and agentic AI to shape the future of energy and home services. As customers transition to low-carbon, smarter, and more connected homes, we’re redefining how we serve them—by creating new products, services, and business models that promote a sustainable energy future.

As a Transformation Director, you’ll lead transformational programmes that drive meaningful change for our customers, colleagues, and business. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to shape strategy, deliver execution, and unlock long-term value at scale.

  • Ensure outcomes meet scope, cost, quality, and benefits requirements.
  • Drive customer and colleague-centric, embedded change.
  • Champion accountability and sustainable business results.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
