Role: Transformation Lead 6 Month FTC (Part-time, 2.5 days a week)
Location: London, United Kingdom
Hybrid (1 day a week in office)
About the role:
This is a part-time, fixed-term role working approximately 2.5 days per week, with one day per week based at our London office. The remaining time is remote. We welcome applications from candidates who value flexibility and are looking for a substantive leadership role that fits around their broader commitments.
This is a senior, hands-on transformation leadership role that operates at the intersection of technology, people, and business performance. You'll own the transformation roadmap from mobilisation through to sustained operational integration — partnering closely with Implementation, Agent Architect, Training, and Optimisation leads to ensure coordinated, milestone-driven delivery.
Success in this role is measured across five dimensions: speed to value (transformation milestones achieved early with clear proof of impact); adoption and engagement (teams actively using AI-enabled workflows with growing confidence); operational integration (AI embedded into core processes and operating models); programme delivery (roadmap delivered on time with full visibility of progress and risks); and business impact (measurable improvements in efficiency, performance, and ROI).
What you will be doing:
Transformation Programme Ownership
- Own the end-to-end transformation programme — aligning technology deployment, adoption, and business outcomes into a single, coherent delivery model
- Define and drive the transformation roadmap, establishing clear milestones, priorities, and measurable impact criteria from the outset
- Track progress against transformation goals, maintaining full visibility of risks, dependencies, and delivery status across all workstreams
- Translate transformation ambition into concrete, sequenced execution — ensuring pace and rigour are maintained throughout
Operating Model and Ways of Working
- Shape and evolve operating models, workflows, and ways of working to embed AI into daily practice across client organisations
- Ensure AI tools and automation are integrated into core processes — not treated as standalone additions — with sustainable, organisation-wide adoption as the outcome
- Partner with the Operations Director and broader programme team to ensure the governed operating model and the transformation agenda reinforce rather than undermine each other

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment
- Lead senior stakeholder engagement across marketing, technology, and operations — building the alignment and momentum that complex transformation programmes require
- Create clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments — communicating progress, risks, and decisions with confidence to senior internal and client stakeholders
- Build and maintain cross-functional alignment across the programme, ensuring all contributing leads are coordinated and working towards shared outcomes
Adoption and Behaviour Change
- Drive adoption, engagement, and behaviour change across teams — supported by structured communication, enablement activity, and performance tracking
- Work with the Business Change Analyst or Change and Engagement Specialist to ensure adoption is measured, understood, and continuously improved throughout the programme
- Ensure teams develop genuine capability and confidence with AI-enabled workflows — not just surface-level compliance
Programme Coordination
- Partner with Implementation, Agent Architect, Training, and Optimisation leads to ensure all workstreams are coordinated and dependencies are actively managed
- Identify and resolve blockers that sit across workstream boundaries, escalating where needed and maintaining programme momentum
What you need to be great in this role:
- Proven experience leading large-scale digital or AI transformation programmes within enterprise environments — with a track record of connecting strategy, technology, and organisational change into a single delivery model
- Demonstrated ability to own a transformation roadmap end-to-end — from mobilisation through to sustained operational integration — with clear accountability for milestones and outcomes
- Background in transformation, consulting, marketing operations, or technology-enabled change within consulting firms, global brands, or technology-led organisations
- Experience shaping and evolving operating models and ways of working within complex, multi-function organisations
- Comfortable working at both execution and strategic level — moving between programme governance and hands-on delivery without losing quality or pace at either level
- Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across marketing, technology, and operations functions in large, matrix environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to create clarity, build confidence, and drive momentum across complex programmes and senior stakeholder groups
- Experience designing and delivering structured adoption and behaviour change programmes — with the ability to demonstrate measurable improvements in engagement, capability, and operational integration
- Comfortable leading change in environments where ambiguity is the norm, with a structured and adaptable approach to keeping programmes on track
- Experience working within or alongside enterprise organisations at scale — understanding the governance, stakeholder complexity, and pace of change that large corporate environments require
- Familiarity with AI-enabled marketing platforms or marketing operations transformation is a significant advantage
- Strategic integration of Gen AI tools across transformation programmes — with experience embedding AI into operating models, workflows, and team practices at an organisational level
- Demonstrated ability to set AI governance frameworks and quality standards within complex, enterprise environments — including policies, permissions, and responsible use guardrails
- Thought leadership on AI's role in marketing operations and business transformation — able to represent a credible, informed point of view in senior client and stakeholder conversations
- Agentic leadership for complex, multi-workstream transformation challenges — systematic in framing problems, decisive in prioritisation, and rigorous in driving follow-through across all programme dimensions
- Clear understanding of where AI accelerates transformation outcomes and where human judgement, change management, and relationship-building remain primary
- Familiarity with Pencil or comparable AI-enabled marketing production platforms
- Experience in embedded or in-house agency transformation models
- Background in financial services, FMCG, or other regulated enterprise environments
- Formal qualifications are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts, whether gained through work, study, volunteering, or self-directed learning.
