Transformation Management Office (TMO) – Manager

The Opportunity

  • Salary: £48,226 to £51,356 per annum
  • Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week
  • Contract type: Two year Fixed term or Secondment opportunity until 31/08/2028
  • Location: County Hall, Chichester and working from home (Hybrid approach)
  • Interview date: Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th August

We are seeking an experienced TMO Manager to join our enterprise-wide Transformation Management Office, supporting the delivery of strategic change across the Council. You will work with a range of stakeholders across the organisation to promote consistent ways of working, support governance arrangements, and provide oversight and reporting that helps keep our transformation activity on track and aligned to organisational priorities.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead activities to embed enterprise-level TMO and assurance frameworks.
  • Drive consistency in programme/project delivery and reporting.
  • Enable visibility of transformation budgets, risks, benefits and resource requirements across the portfolio.
  • Build strong relationships across senior leadership and programme teams.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven TMO/Programme Management Office (PMO), Project Portfolio Management (PPM) leadership in large-scale transformation.
  • Expertise in governance, benefits realisation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and influencing skills.
  • Public sector experience is a plus.
