Transformation Manager – Income Generation

Transformation Manager – Programme & Change Delivery

Location: Based in London office with homeworking considered in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy.

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment opportunity.

About the Role

Crisis, the national charity for people experiencing homelessness, has launched a 10-year strategy to end homelessness. By 2035, our goal is for all forms of homelessness to be in decline. This aligns with our three organisational aims:

  • Securing the policies that solve homelessness
  • Delivering services that end homelessness for people and places
  • Building a community across Britain that actively helps end homelessness

To meet this ambitious plan, we operate in three-year cycles. Our current 2025-2028 strategic plan prioritises:

  • National advocacy and system change
  • Place-based interventions
  • Direct service delivery
  • Increased public engagement
  • Becoming a landlord for the first time in our 60-year history

Behind every objective is our goal of achieving a sustainable operating model to support organisational health and strategy. This requires growing and diversifying income, optimising operations for predictability, and mitigating financial risks.

A brand, marketing, and fundraising strategy has been developed to drive these changes. The Transformation Manager will lead the implementation, catalysing these shifts by:

  • Designing and executing a transformation programme that aligns with strategic intent
  • Transitioning to a predictable, sustainable income model
  • Expanding our supporter database
  • Enhancing supporter experience through:
    • Refined supporter journeys
    • Content planning
    • Contact strategies
  • Delivering £30 million to fund 100 homes as part of Crisis’ capital appeal

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
