Transformation Programme Lead, 7 months FTC, up to £65k pa plus great benefits, Truro, hybrid, start asap!

The Role We are seeking an experienced Transformation Programme Lead - Digital & AI (People & Organisational Development) to lead a high-impact portfolio of transformation initiatives on a fixed-term basis - you must be able to commit to a minimum of 7 months duration.
This senior role will drive the redesign of people services through digital platforms, automation, and AI-enabled tools—ensuring services are simpler, data-driven, and designed around the needs of staff and leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a complex portfolio of transformation programmes from design through to delivery
- Developing and delivering a Digital & AI transformation roadmap aligned to organisational priorities
- Driving adoption of digital self-service, workflow automation, and AI-supported decision-making
- Establishing robust governance, benefits realisation, and risk management frameworks
- Acting as a senior change leader, building engagement, capability, and confidence across teams
- Ensuring ethical, transparent, and compliant use of workforce data and AI technologies
This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior leaders across People, Digital, Finance, and operational teams to deliver meaningful and sustainable change.

What You'll Need to Succeed You will be a confident change agent with a strong track record of delivering complex transformation programmes, ideally within large, matrix organisations. I'm keen to consider applications from candidates willing to work in a hybrid way with an office based in Truro. You must have the below to be considered for this pivotal post:
- Significant experience leading transformation portfolios, ideally within people services / knowledge of HR functions
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, with exposure to automation, data, and ideally AI-enabled solutions
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and navigate complexity
- Proven programme governance, delivery, and benefits realisation expertise
- High resilience and the ability to lead through ambiguity and change
- A strong ethical mindset, particularly in relation to data and emerging technologies
