About the Role

We are seeking a Transformation Programme Manager / Programme Director who specializes in the Financial Services domain. This role is pivotal in leading large scale complex transformation initiatives in financial services, including Retail, Commercial, Payments, and Lending, as well as not-for-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale transformation programmes, end to end delivery, aligning with both client goals and industry best practices
  • Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and SMEs, influencing decision-making in line with business goals
  • Create structure for large-scale transformation programmes, including programme target operating model and roadmaps, managing alignment across people, process, technology, and business objectives
  • Orchestrate programmes across multiple entities as well as internal & external stakeholders (e.g. client teams, technology teams etc.)
  • Own, define and manage Programme Governance including plans, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, budget oversight and status reporting, ensuring programme deliverables adhere to the agreed governance and risk framework
  • Implement effective change management strategies to promote adoption of new processes and technologies within client organizations
  • Deep knowledge of scaled agile SAFe delivery, product management, and able to liaise between business and tech, define and prioritize technical requirements, create and maintain product backlog, epics, features, user-stories and drive agile delivery
  • Lead PI Planning, big-room planning workshops, sprint planning, work closely with cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams
  • Be the bridge between technical delivery team and business product owners and work closely with Business & Technology teams with an agile, iterative approach using design thinking to foster innovation
  • Good understanding of latest technologies, regulatory developments, and best practices in Financial Services & Insurance space
  • Support sales proposals, Request for Proposal RFP responses and client pitches and drive business development by proactively seeking new opportunities in client accounts
  • Formulate and present Infosys propositions and service offerings, contribute to FSI thought leadership, intellectual property, methods & tools
  • Play an advisory role to client leaders and Provide direction and guidance on the development of the team, consultants

The Successful Candidate

The Successful Candidate will demonstrate the following Strengths:

  • Extensive experience working in Financial Services with an understanding of customer journeys, process flows, business value realization
  • Strong communication, listening, influencing and inter-personal skills
  • Creative with a curious mind, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex programmes in business and technology
  • Demonstrated creating and embedding a positive and creative environment for our people to thrive
  • Ability to engage with CxO and senior client stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed for client engagements
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a self-directed nature
  • Good understanding of latest leading technologies, data, AI, digital and able to identify opportunities to incorporate them

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in STEM or a related field. MBA is preferred. Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum)
  • Approx 10-15+ years of experience in a technology-focused role within management consulting, with substantial experience in the Financial Services & insurance industry

Other Key Requirements

  • A good understanding of industry drivers, regulations, challenges, and market trends financial services General financial management skills, financial analysis, gained within both commercial and/or not-for-profit organisations
  • Innovation in both sales and delivery
  • Proven ability to shape propositions and projects that deliver effective business outcomes for clients whilst managing internal commercial and delivery risk
  • Excellent people management and leadership experience, with a proven ability to motivate and lead multi-disciplinary team
