TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME MANAGER (TECHNICAL SERVICES)
Contract: Operations Performance
Location: London (E14 9SH)
Hours of work: 37.5
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
We are seeking a Transformation Programme Manager to become an integral part of the Technical Services Transformation team, helping to keep programmes on track and ensuring projects are delivered effectively across the Technical Services function.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Technical Services, this role will provide oversight of transformation activities and support the delivery of measurable business benefits and operational improvements.
Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced programme professional to lead a business-critical transformation programme, working closely with teams and stakeholders across the business.
This position will play a key role in bringing together all areas of Technical Services and establishing a consistent approach to governance, operating standards, reporting, and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a business-critical transformation programme
- Develop and maintain the programme roadmap, ensuring effective governance, reporting, and delivery oversight
- Establish programme structures, governance frameworks, processes, and ways of working
- Drive organisational change initiatives and support successful stakeholder adoption
- Act as the visible lead for the transformation programme and a trusted partner to the Managing Director of Technical Services
About You
- Significant project or programme management experience, preferably within a complex transformation and/or technical services environment
- Proven track record of implementing PMO frameworks
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Hands-on experience with project and portfolio management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project / Jira / Monday.com)
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive adoption of PMO standards
- Advanced data, analytics, and insight capability, with the ability to identify trends and present clear, actionable insights
- Experience guiding stakeholders through process changes, training, and transition activities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for executive, technical, and business audiences
- Strong judgement and the ability to proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks
- Appropriate qualification or equivalent experience in Project or Programme Management
- Full UK driving licence (ad hoc travel to client sites)
