Job Overview

Arm IT is building a next-generation Service Management capability that combines ITIL v4 framework, SRE methodology, and AI-enabled automation to enable engineering velocity with enterprise reliability.

As Senior Transition & Change Specialist, this role plays a key part in evolving Change Enablement, Release Governance, and Configuration integrity within the Service Management Office. The position supports production stability while enabling high-velocity delivery, ensuring that speed and reliability work together effectively.

This role integrates risk awareness, policy-based automation, and practical governance into engineering workflows so that innovation can progress confidently without compromising operational integrity.

Responsibilities

Own and govern risk-based Change Enablement aligned to ITIL v4. Implement and expand automated Standard Change models. Embed policy-based approvals and risk modelling into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Reduce emergency change reliance through predictive governance. Align deployment frequency and change velocity with error budget thresholds. Govern release readiness, deployment quality, and rollback capability. Monitor change failure rate and change-induced incident trends. Ensure accurate CI-to-service mapping and CMDB integrity, leading to impact assessment automation. Enable automated impact assessment and risk evaluation. Improve configuration data quality supporting incident, problem, and change decisions. Align software and configuration lifecycle governance with audit, compliance, and operational risk requirements. Ensure disaster recovery readiness and service continuity controls are reflected in change governance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
