The Role
We are seeking an experienced Transition Client Relationship Manager to join our specialty team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for trustees, sponsors, and internal stakeholders during the onboarding of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire transition process, from data migration and member communications to ensuring delivery aligned with agreed budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary relationship manager for scheme transitions, fostering trust with clients and stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end transition projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
- Oversee and review critical deliverables, such as:
- Migration and analysis of scheme data
- Preparation of benefit specifications
- Drafting and reviewing member communications
- Monitor project progress against plans, escalate issues and risks timely and appropriately, and produce written reports
- Provide technical guidance and input to colleagues to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Contribute to process improvements within our transition framework

About You
We’re looking for a self-driven professional who excels in a project-focused environment and is adept at managing complex technical client relationships. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in DB pensions administration with strong project management skills
- Exceptional client relationship management, with natural confidence in communicating complex technical matters and advising stakeholders
- A firm grasp of pensions data and technical documentation
- Outstanding organisation and ability to balance multiple priorities
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
