Translation Project Coordinator – Patent Translation

About the Role
The Translation Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects.
Responsibilities
- Independently execute patent translation & filing projects from start to finish.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for their quality, completion and profitability.
- Work with various clients and sales teams to deliver top-quality translations for patent** prosecution** in one of TransPerfect’s fastest-growing departments.
- Build and maintain working relationships with linguists and patent attorneys worldwide.
- Collaborate with the broader team to understand the patent filing process, advising clients and sales on industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with the manager and wider team regarding emerging trending issues, and contribute to problem-solving to improve internal processes and external offerings.

Required Skills & Experience
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to schedule tasks and work in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new things, openness to challenges, and resilience to thrive on success
- Fluency in a foreign language and an interest in IP services (preferable but not mandatory)
