Job Title: Transport Administrator
Location: Unit 14 Quarry Wood Industrial Estate, Mills Road, Aylesford, ME20 7NA
Salary: £28,644.30 per annum
Are you an efficient, experienced Transport Administrator looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a strong administrator to join our busy Transport Department at our site in Aylesford on a full time, permanent basis.
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
You will be working on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a salary of £28,644.30 per annum!
What does the job involve?
- Delivering a professional, fast and efficient administration service to the Transport office.
- Conducting driver debriefs.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date transport documentation and reports.
- Booking vehicles in for servicing and maintenance.
- Managing stock levels of consumables and the reusable tray inventory.
- Answering and resolving telephone & email queries.
- Collaboratively working with the Fleet Administrator tracking and ensuring compliance with the Working Time Directive.
- Liaising with customers and the customer service team to resolve queries.
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks supporting the department and office function.
- Communication with drivers to track the completion of deliveries and collections and to gather information on request such as ETA’s

Key Skills / Experience
- Reliable and professional
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent communication skills and excels at building relationships
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
- Previous experience in Transport/Logistics is desirable but not essential
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)

We have recently diversified into direct Home Deliveries offering freshly picked fruit and vegetables from our own farms as well as a full range of grocery, dairy, alcohol and pantry goods.
