Transport Administrator - Transport Operator - Vegetation Management Operator

Job Description

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £26,780.00 per annum plus Veolia benefits
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri
  • Location: 1 Station Road, Four Ashes, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV10 7DG

Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day administrative tasks and inputting data accurately into company systems
  • Creating purchase orders, updating spreadsheets, receipting orders, and resolving supplier queries
  • Ensuring timely payroll data entry for staff payments
  • Raising customer invoices and handling billing queries professionally
  • Gathering and collating key performance data to support management decisions
  • Maintaining compliance with Veolia policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Ability to handle data and financial information with high accuracy
  • Proven skills in prioritisation, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in transport or logistics
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Sheets, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication for liaising with colleagues and suppliers
  • Capacity to work independently or as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities
