Transport - Automotive Vehicle & Repair Development Consultant - Remote

Development Consultant in Automotive Vehicle and Repair Competence

Would you like to be involved with supporting the development of qualifications in Automotive Vehicle and Repair Competence?

We are looking for Development Consultants to join our team and be part of a growing network of associates.

This role offers the opportunity to work with City & Guilds alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates and contribute to expanding your skills and development.

Responsibilities

Development Consultants hold one of the most wide-ranging roles of all City & Guilds Associates, with the potential to become involved in various aspects of the qualification and assessment development process. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Scoping qualification content – e.g., qualification and unit structures, rules of combinations, assessment design
  • Writing unit content
  • Drafting assessments and sample assessment materials – e.g., multiple-choice question papers, knowledge tests, practical assessments, professional discussions, portfolios of evidence
  • Reviewing and amending assessments as part of reviewing panels or as a scrutineer
  • Reviewing content mapping against standards or other qualifications
