YOUR ROLE
Our Dartford operation is looking for a Transport Clerk to ensure that the transport administration operational activities effectively and efficiently meet and exceed customer and CEVA expectations.
The role will see you working on split shifts (tbc locally). Hours per week are 39 + 1. The pay rate is up to £27,966.12 per annum with a London Market Rate Supplement allowance of £1,398.31 per annum.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Ensure accurate and effective management of traffic administration office duties in accordance with legislation and operational work instructions
- Contribute to achieving all contractual KPI’s with particulate emphasis on POD accuracy, fleet utilisation and cost control
- Ensure all administrative and IT functions are completed in line with company policy and procedures and client requirements
- Produce reports as requested by contract supervisors and/or managers
- To deal with any incoming/outgoing telephone calls politely and confidently, using own initiative to solve any situations that may arise
- Ensure all Lean requirements are met, including 5S
- Ensure high standards of Health & Safety, cleanliness and tidiness throughout the working environment
- Attend any developmental training as required in compliance with the Companies commitment to Investors in People Standard
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a candidate with strong organisational skills and previous experience in a fast-paced transport office environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a client-focused approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. It is also desirable to have experience in Transport Management Systems and a solid understanding of Microsoft packages.
