London Hire Community Services is one of the largest, specialist, and accessible vehicle operators in the UK. We deliver quality passenger transport services across Kent, Surrey, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes, and London, and we’re expanding into the West Midlands.
About the Role
Department: Office & Management Location: West Norwood Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (35 hours/week) Compensation: £14.80 per hour (£26,936 annual equivalent)
We are looking for a Dynamic Transport Co-ordinator to oversee contract delivery, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations. This role offers varied, engaging responsibilities with real impact—no two days will be the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Customer Support
- First point of contact for telephone, email, and in-person enquiries regarding depot operations, escalating as needed.
- Liaise regularly with local authorities, providing service user attendance updates.

Compliance & Administrative Coordination
- Monitor and report Mechanical Replacement Vehicle (MRV) usage weekly to the company insurer.
- Manage vehicle compliance paperwork, including inspections, servicing, MOTs, and defect documentation.

Dispatch & Contract Management
- Work with the management team to update transport routes in the Cordic dispatch system, including adding/removing routes as required.
- Liaise between the contract management team and operational staff about route amendments and notifications.

System Support & Payroll Assistance
- Troubleshoot and support Cordic system users where needed.
- Assist with driver/passenger assistant timesheets and general payroll adjustments.

Operational Flexibility
- Contribute to project work related to depot and transport operations when required.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the management team.

Skills & Requirements
- Essential
- Strong organisation and IT proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially phone dexterity).

- Adherence to Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and relevant company protocols.
- Full compliance with company codes of conduct.
