We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to oversee and optimise our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transportation activities, coordinating with supply chain partners, and ensuring the smooth movement of goods. This Transport Coordinator role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong analysis and communication skills to contribute to a dynamic logistics team. Prior experience with transportation management systems and supply chain processes is highly desirable.

- Coordinate daily transportation activities across 4 depots, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods
- Utilise transportation management systems (TMS) to plan routes, schedule shipments, and monitor freight movements
- Analyse logistics data to identify efficiencies, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and clients via phone etiquette and professional correspondence
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in the real-time problem solving of logistical issues through effective analysis skills
Experience
- Proven experience in logistics or transportation coordination within a supply chain environment
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and/or logistics software
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated analysis skills to evaluate logistics performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic typing skills for data entry tasks are required
