Transport Compliance Manager
Grade: RCS M Location: Livingston Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Pay Rate: £40,700
Shift Patterns
Must work Monday to Friday, day shift (flexible start time between 6am–10am).
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Transport Compliance Manager to ensure our LRGV vehicles and drivers remain safe, efficient, and fully compliant across all contracts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all LGV drivers meet legal and company standards:
- Driving assessments
- Induction programmes
- Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Manual handling training
- Enable operational procedures
- Compliance with EU Drivers’ Hours & Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations

Oversee daily LGV fleet compliance, including:
- Vehicle health and maintenance
- Servicing schedules and tachograph reporting

Produce and maintain daily/weekly compliance reports for all areas

Improve cost control and monitoring in fleet operations

Sustain safe vehicle/driver documentation and certifications
Requirements
Essential
✔ International CPC qualification ✔ Proven LGV fleet management experience ✔ Deep understanding of UK/EU transport legislation and compliance ✔ Experience in a fast-paced transport operation
Desirable
- Experience with temperature-controlled vehicles
- Background in people management/supervision
