Transport Coordinator Required – Manchester – Full Time

- Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Transport Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of transport, production, and customer service. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing multiple priorities.
Package & Benefits
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (early finish on Fridays when workload permits)
- Salary: £30,000 per annum
- 5% Annual performance bonus
- Christmas bonus
- Private medical insurance (after 12 months)

Responsibilities
- Plan daily transport routes and coordinate collections
- Liaise with production teams, customers, drivers, and third-party hauliers
- Process transport documentation and maintain accurate records
- Manage driver hours, vehicle checks, and fleet administration
- Monitor customer KPIs and provide regular performance reports
- Organise product transfers between sites
- Support accounts department with month-end administration when required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ B2B customer service experience
- Strong preference for candidates with previous experience in transport, logistics, or production coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT skills (Sage experience desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong professional communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
