Transport Coordinator

We’re now looking for 2 experienced Transport Coordinators to join our busy Spalding operation:
- 1 x Dayshift
- 1 x Nightshift

What you’ll be doing
As a Transport Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our transport operation running safely, efficiently, and on time.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Briefing and debriefing drivers at the start and end of shifts
- Acting as the first point of contact for driver queries and live operational issues
- Monitoring routes and vehicle movements throughout the shift
- Escalating delays or issues to the Team Manager where required
- Supporting operational excellence across service, cost, and peak planning
- Ensuring legal compliance in line with O-Licence requirements
- Managing payroll administration, holidays, and Kronos exceptions
- Delivering excellent customer service and quick resolutions to operational challenges

Shift Pattern
We currently have a range of shift patterns available, all will include regularly working at least one day over the weekend.

What we’re looking for
Ideally, You’ll Have
- Experience working within a busy transport or logistics environment
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Good PC skills including Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering a smooth operation.
