We are looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our team in Crewe. As a Transport Coordinator, you’ll play a key role at the centre of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite M&S food.
SHIFT PATTERN & LOCATION
We’re recruiting a Transport Coordinator at our Crewe site on a:

Rotating shift pattern (although some flexibility may be required):
- Week one: Wednesday – Saturday
- Week two: Thursday – Saturday
Hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm
PAY & BENEFITS
- Salary of £33,000

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As part of your role, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for drivers, managing briefs, debriefs, and resolving queries effectively.
- Ensure legal O-licence compliance and deliver operational excellence across cost, service, and peak planning.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving and escalating live operational issues where required.
- Monitor route performance, ensuring timely delivery, processing supplier queries and escalating issues to the Team Manager when appropriate.
- Manage daily administrative tasks efficiently, including payroll, holidays, Kronos exceptions, and scheduling.
- Support admin and export, ensuring export compliance.

IDEAL CANDIDATES (WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR)
- Experience of administration in a busy transport environment.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
