About the Role
At Evri, transport safety and compliance sit at the heart of everything we do. Our Transport Development Team plays a vital role in raising standards, strengthening road safety, and shaping positive driver and management behaviours across the business. We’re now looking for a Transport Development Auditor on a 6-month fixed term contract to join the team and act as a key compliance checkpoint across all Evri sites. This role offers a real opportunity to influence standards, support operational excellence and help shape the future of transport development across our Group.

- Work closely with sites and leadership teams to assess, support and continuously improve transport compliance and performance.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out routine transport audits across all Evri sites, including 28-day, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reviews.
- Preparing for audits remotely using company-approved systems, followed by on-site audits as required.
- Ensuring Earned Recognition standards (Driver and Vehicle) are met prior to physical site visits.
- Collating audit findings and delivering clear, structured feedback to stakeholders.
- Presenting audit outcomes and recommendations to site teams and Area-level leadership.
- Creating and maintaining audit records in line with DVSA and ISO standards.
- Identifying training and development needs for site transport teams.
- Supporting succession planning by highlighting future talent for transport roles.
- Ensuring audits are delivered consistently, fairly and within agreed timeframes.
- Contributing to wider Transport Development initiatives and projects.
- Keeping up to date with legislative changes and industry best practice through continuous professional development.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office packages.
- Professional Competency in Transport Management (CPC) with relevant experience is desirable.
- Experience managing processes in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong understanding of Operator License obligations is desirable.
- Proven experience in using TACHO master is desirable.
- Proven ability to analyse data, collate information and influence stakeholders.
- Experience creating efficient systems and ways of working.
- Confident creating and delivering content across a range of transport topics.
- Ability to influence through data and insight to all levels across the organisation.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong cross-referencing skills.
- Experience supporting and driving change management.
