We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Transport First Line Manager to lead our driver teams, ensuring safe, efficient operations and service excellence.
✅ About the Role
In this critical position, you will:
- Lead and support drivers to deliver safe and efficient transport operations
- Manage daily transport planning and respond to operational challenges
- Conduct driver briefings, debriefings and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with vehicle checks, legal requirements, and fleet regulations
- Collaborate with transport, warehouse, and network teams to meet targets
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating driver schedules and ensuring optimal transport solutions
- Addressing unexpected operational issues while maintaining high performance
- Holding regular one-to-one conversations to foster team performance
- Overseeing driver compliance, including compliance checks and legal obligations
- Facilitating cross-team cooperation to achieve KPIs and service excellence

- Deep understanding of transport operations, Drivers' Hours, and Working Time Regulations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple demands
- Strong confidence in independent decision-making, taking ownership of challenges
- Proven experience leading large driver teams to drive operational success
