Transport & Logistics Compliance Auditor
Auditor – Self-Employed (Organisational & Course Audits) – DVSA Schemes
About the Role
CAS is recruiting experienced self-employed auditors to conduct organisational and course audits across the following DVSA schemes:
- DCPC (Driver CPC)
- TDPT (Training Driver Passenger Transport)
- DGDT (Dangerous Goods Driver Training)
- DDR ( Driver and Operator CPC)
Applicants with expertise in the following sectors are encouraged to apply:
- Transport management
- Compliance and quality management
- Driver training and assessment
- Fleet compliance
- Transport operations management
This is a home-based role with travel to audit locations as required. Suitable candidates will benefit from an immediate start.
Priority Regions

- Carlisle & Cumbria
- Lincolnshire
- Norfolk
- Suffolk

Ideal Skills & Experience
We welcome applications from professionals with experience in:
- Transport and fleet compliance
- Driver training and assessment
- Dangerous goods operations and training
- Quality assurance and auditing
- FORS accreditation and fleet standards
- DVSA Earned Recognition
- Transport operations and management
- Road transport regulatory compliance

Essential Requirements
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience within:
- Transport, logistics, driver training
- Dangerous goods, fleet compliance
- Transport quality assurance sectors
- Strong organisational, communication and digital skills

** Preferred Qualifications**
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- DDR and/or ADR qualifications
- DVSA Earned Recognition experience
- Registered ADI status
- Level 3 qualification in Managing Substance Abuse
- Experience auditing, quality assuring or managing regulated training schemes
