Transport Office Coordinator

Document Control, Invoicing & Commercial Administration

Location: Leyland

Salary: £30,000 + Benefits

Role: Permanent | Full Time

This isn't your typical administration role.

We're looking for a highly organised Transport Office Coordinator to become the link between Operations and Accounts, ensuring paperwork is accurate, complete and ready for invoicing. Working within a busy transport and logistics environment, you'll take ownership of purchase orders, job documentation, supporting paperwork and invoice readiness, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing order to chaos, solving problems, chasing missing information and ensuring administrative processes are followed correctly.

If you're the type of person who spots inconsistencies, enjoys investigating discrepancies and takes pride in getting things right first time, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing the flow of operational paperwork from start to finish
  • Ensuring purchase orders, supporting documentation and job information are complete and accurate
  • Chasing missing paperwork from internal teams, customers and suppliers
  • Investigating discrepancies and resolving issues before invoices are raised
  • Working closely with Operations and Accounts to ensure a smooth invoicing process
  • Maintaining accurate records and document control procedures
  • Supporting the reduction of invoice queries, disputes and delays
  • Identifying opportunities to improve administration, documentation and reporting processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
