Transport Planner – Logistics & Supply Chain (Gist)

As a Transport Planner, you will oversee the planning of products through the Gist network for M&S. Strong communication skills will be critical to maintaining strong relationships with depots and customers across the UK. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we encourage creativity, problem-solving, and innovative thinking to ensure optimal, efficient plans are developed.

Role Details
- Working Pattern: Rotating 4 shifts on, 4 off – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Location: Basingstoke, Chineham
Responsibilities
Using the Paragon Software platform, your key duties include:
- Creating efficient transport plans for depots and M&S customers, adhering to service requirements
- Analysing plans to:
- Identify cost savings opportunities within the network
- Enhance operational efficiency
- Reduce environmental impact
- Improve profit margins
- Collaborating with operational teams to implement and support key initiatives
Requirements
Ideal candidates will embody the following traits and experience:
