Transport Planner
Transport Planner – Development Planning
Location: Birmingham (Permanent)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum
Region: UK – West Midlands

Your Role
Your role will be fundamental in delivering transport planning services, encompassing:
- Preparing:
- Transport Assessments
- Transport Statements
- Travel Plans
- Carrying out:
- Site access appraisals
- Junction capacity assessments
- Parking reviews
- Supporting transport chapters for Environmental Statements
- Liaising with:
- Clients
- Local authorities
- Stakeholders
- Assisting with:
- Project management
- Proposal preparation

Requirements
We seek candidates who can demonstrate:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in UK transport/development planning
- A strong, comprehensive understanding of:
- The UK planning system
- Relevant transport guidance (e.g., NPPF, Manual for Streets)
- Proficiency in:
- Technical analysis tools
- Technical report writing
- A degree in:
- Transport Planning
- Geography
- Civil Engineering
- (or closely related discipline)
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
- An enthusiastic, proactive approach, with a eagerness to develop your career
