Transport Planner
Shape the future of logistics at Uniserve.
We are looking for a motivated and results-focused Transport Planner to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across our network.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (05:00-15:00, 08:00-18:00, 10:00-20:00) Flexibility to work across all three shifts when required is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Plan efficient delivery routes based on distance, traffic, and deadlines
- Support and coordinate with drivers to ensure smooth daily operations
- Work with warehouse teams to manage load distribution and vehicle capacity
- Oversee vehicle utilisation and maintenance requirements
- Monitor deliveries and provide timely updates to customers
- Handle customer enquiries and maintain high service standards
- Optimise resources to reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- Analyse performance data to identify improvements
- Collaborate with warehouse, drivers, and wider teams to maintain seamless operations
