DHL Supply Chain – Transport Planner
Pay Rate: £28,272.99 Grade: RCS N Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Hours: 37.5 per week Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (predominantly 9am – 5pm) Location: Worksop, S80 3EG (Site-Based)

The Role: Transport Planner
You’ll play a critical role in optimising transport planning within our department, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver efficient, cost-effective transport plans that align with business objectives.
- Ensure alignment with Network KPIs while exceeding customer SLAs.
- Utilise ConnectTMS to:
- Build loads and route plans.
- Allocate vehicles, trailers and driver resources collaboratively.
- Monitor workload progress against deadlines.
- Maintain real-time oversight of operations to uphold scheduling and service standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Here’s what this role is looking for:
- Essential:
- Proven transport/route planning experience, with deep familiarity with UK transport networks and regulations.
- Direct or relevant experience working with FMCG customers is advantageous.
- Strong grasp of Driver Regulations and the Working Time Directive.
- Problem-solving skills with a methodical, analytical mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
