Experienced Transport Planner – Pallet Network

Location: Green Circle Logistics, Peterborough

Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support operational demands.

About Green Circle Logistics

Green Circle Logistics is a growing transport and logistics business operating a busy pallet network distribution operation alongside general haulage, warehousing, and specialist transport services.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Transport Planner to join our operations team in Peterborough.

This is not a trainee position. We are looking for an individual who understands the pace and pressures of pallet network operations and can make effective decisions in a fast-moving environment while maintaining exceptional customer service levels.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing daily collections and deliveries across our pallet network operation, ensuring maximum efficiency, service performance, and vehicle utilisation.

A strong knowledge of the Peterborough and wider PE postcode area is essential, as this role involves planning multi-drop delivery routes and collection schedules throughout the region.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
